What is the Diocesan Called & Equipped course?

Called & Equipped is a year-long programme, offering a foundation in Catholic teaching and a journey of faith formation, in a mix of online group sessions with in-person events through the year. It begins with a residential retreat in September, and throughout the year you will have 24 weekly online group sessions on Zoom. All materials are housed on our online platform which you will be given access to at the beginning of the course. This course is for anyone active in parish life or coming into ministry.

Throughout the course, 8 units are covered:

• Sacraments & the Mass
• Old Testament
• Accompaniment & Pastoral Skills
• New Testament
• Catholic Social Teaching & Ethics
• Mission & Sharing our Faith
• Exploring our vocation
