Join us for a transformative day at the Austin Sisters Conference, where women come together in unity and faith. This special event, planned in collaboration with multiple masajid and organizations, including NAMCC, ICBC, ICGA, EMBRACE, GIC, Nueces, ACC MSA is designed to inspire and uplift sisters as we deepen our connection with our Deen, and strengthen the bonds of sisterhood.

The conference will feature renowned speakers who will share insights on various aspects of Islamic life, offer guidance, wisdom, and motivation to help you grow spiritually. Beyond the talks, this is a space to mingle, network, and support one another on our journeys as Muslim women.

Speaker Bio's

Sr. Dunia Shuaib 

Ustādha Dunia Shuaib is a passionate and ongoing student of sacred knowledge and Islāmic psychology, a PhD Candidate, the founder of Guided Hearts Institute, an educator, internationally renowned lecturer, and author. Through a holistic and integrative approach she combines the Qurān and Sunnah, rich Islāmic tradition, Islāmic psychology and modern psychology to help educate and inspire Muslims to reach their greatest potential.

Sr. Reem Shaikh

Reem Shaikh, born and raised in Houston, completed the memorization of the Quran at the age of seven and later studied Arabic in Egypt. She earned a bachelor's degree in Islamic Studies from the College of Sharia at Qatar University and a Master of Theological Studies from Harvard Divinity School, where she also served as the Muslim Chaplain at Boston University. Additionally, Reem holds an ijazah in the 10 variant Quranic recitations and has taught at Guidance College. Currently, she is pursuing her PhD at the University of Texas, specializing in the history of Islamic Fiqh.

Sr. Sophia Khan

Ustadha Sophia Khan is a motivational speaker and educator who excels in connecting with Muslim youth, college students, and young professionals. She is a mentor and advisor to many young women across Texas including Dallas, College Station, Houston, and Austin.

With a bachelor's degree in Islamic Shari'ah Law from the University of Sharjah, U.A.E. and a degree in Psychology focused on Mental Health, she passionately guides the younger generation in their spiritual and personal development through the Qur'an, Asmaa Ul Husnaa, and Islamic Psychology.
