Dinner with John Glen MP

North Devon Conservative Association invites you to an evening with John Glen MP.

John has been MP for Salisbury since 2010 and has served as PPS to Eric Pickles, Housing and Communities Minister, Sajid Javid, Business Secretary and Philip Hammond, Chancellor of the Exchequer.  He has served under three PMs: Teresa May appointed him Minister for the Arts, Heritage and Tourism at the DCMS, and then Economic Secretary to the Treasury, a role he retained in Boris Johnson's Government. He was then appointed Paymaster General and finally Minister for the Cabinet Office by Rishi Sunak. He is now PPS to our leader, Kemi Badenoch.

Having had a ring-side seat during the recent defenestration of Robert Jenrick, he should have a few interesting insights to offer into the current state of play at Westminster, as well as the quest for growth, Brexit, Covid and Liz Truss.

Dinner will consist of a two course meal: a main course (Roast Beef, Roast Turkey and Nut-less roast) and pudding (Apple Crumble, Raspberry Pavlova or Chocolate Brownie with ice cream)
