FAQS:
Q: What will the experience be like?
A: The event will run in small groups of around 12. On arrival you will be given a briefing and a set of headphones. Then you will follow a leader around the nature reserve whilst listening to stories, poems and some history about the places we are visiting. The walk will last around 60 – 70 minutes with plenty of stops. Afterwards we will return to the visitors’ centre for refreshments before boarding the bus back to Halifax (if you have booked a place).
Q: Do I need to get the bus provided from Halifax to attend?
A: No, but we would encourage it where possible as parking at Cromwell Bottom is limited, plus it helps us all to lower our carbon footprint. For anyone deciding to make their own way there, a member of our team will meet you at the Cromwell Bottom car park and direct you to the visitors’ centre when the event will begin.
Q: If I'm driving to Eureka to use the mini bus, do I still need to pay to park there?
A: Yes, all usual parking charges at Eureka! do still apply.

A: Yes, we will only follow prescribed footpaths and the majority of the route is flat and accessible for wheelchairs. These is a slight incline towards the end of the walk but there is an alternative route available if this is not accessible to you. The bus provided has space for wheelchair users. Foldable stools will also be available on each walk for those less able to stand. If you wish to discuss your access needs, please email jess@northern-broadsides.co.uk
