State of Satta are a 7-piece Reggae band based in Leeds inspired by the sounds of UK Reggae and Cuban music, State of Satta are carrying on the lineage of bands like Gentlemanโ€™s Dub Club, Fat Freddyโ€™s Drop and UB40 amongst many other dub influences. In the 2 years they have been together they have already toured the UK with many sold out shows, played with Mungo's HiFi, supported touring bands such as Dub Pistols and Zion Train, and shared festival main-stages with Madness and The Wailers!

With radio play from David Rodigan on BBC Radio1Xtra to performing on the main stage of Beat-Herder Festival 2022, State of Satta are going from strength to strength taking the UK reggae scene by storm; a festival force to be reckoned with guaranteed to bring joy to reggae lovers of all generations. Following the release of their debut EP โ€˜We Still Moveโ€™ State of Satta have been trawling across the UK spreading positive vibrations to every stage they grace.

Influences include: The Skatalites, Fat Freddy's Drop, Nubiyan Twist, Gentleman's Dub Club, Buena Vista Social Club, Backbeat Soundsystem, The Skints, Bob Marley & The Wailers, Dub Inc, The Specials.
