Mini Collage Workshop - Artist Trading Cards

Come and join us on the cosy mezzanine at Little Picardy to create a set of mini collages.

We will use papers, paints and inspiring images to create a series of collages that you can keep to display or trade with fellow workshoppers at the end. We'll be on hand to guide you through techniques and tips on composition and themes to help you express your ideas and create a truly individual set of mini artworks.

It'll be a relaxed session with plenty of ideas and time to chat over a drink or two. So bring some friends or come on your own and meet some fellow makers!

All materials are included and Little Picardy will offer a 10% discount at the bar on drinks for workshop attendees.

I'm Suzy, and I live in lovely Leith. I have been making things for as long as I can remember and the kinds of things I make haven't changed that much. I especially love artist books, journals, making things in boxes and collage & mixed media from paper, fabrics and scraps. As I have got older I have come to realise how important it is to make time to play and be creative. It can sometimes be hard to prioritise this when life is busy but showing up regularly adds up to a gradual body of work and a calmer more joyful me. Take this workshop as your permission slip to play!
