Level 2 Award in Understanding the Misuse of Substances

Public Health North Lincolnshire are excited to facilitate the Level 2 Award in Understanding the Misuse of Substances delivered by Inspire Ignite. Learners will increase their knowledge and understanding of why people misuse substances, the personal and social consequences of this and how individuals can be helped and supported with regard to substance misuse. To achieve this qualification a candidate must:

• Understand factors that result in people misusing substances
• Understand the personal and social consequences of substance misuse 
• Know how to provide help and support to the individual with regard to substance misuse.

Whist this training is provided for free (fully funded by Public Health North Lincolnshire) there is an optional opportunity to receive a nationally recognised Royal Society of Public Health (RSPH) accredited certificate, which will cost £25 (payable in cash ONLY on the day of the training). If you would like to gain the RSPH certificate, you will be required to complete a workbook on the day. You will also need to book at least one week before the training date and email (so that relevant resources can be ordered).
