Candle-Lit Vigil - World Suicide Prevention Day 2026

North Lincolnshire Council's Public Health Team would like to invite you to join us for our annual World Suicide Prevention Day Candle Lit Vigil.

This special evening brings together families, friends, colleagues, partner organisations and members of the community to remember those we have lost to suicide, support those bereaved by suicide, and stand together in hope. It is an opportunity to reflect, share messages of hope, and raise awareness of suicide prevention while reminding one another that nobody has to face these challenges alone.

The evening will include guest speakers, personal reflections, music and the lighting of candles in memory of loved ones, creating a space for remembrance, hope and community support.If you would like to share a few words, a reading, poem, prayer or message of hope during the evening, we would be delighted to hear from you.
