Our Domestic Abuse Risk Assessment training is designed to give learners the tools you need to identify a victim’s level of risk, and what actions to take as a result. You’ll also gain understanding of the different types of domestic abuse and how they manifest, including controlling and coercive behaviour.

This training is suitable for all staff and volunteers working with adults in North Lincolnshire.

  • We look at the changes brought in by the latest legislation, and how we relate this broad definition of abuse to conversations with clients.
  • Understand different categories of DA including controlling and coercive behaviour and how these types of abuse manifest.
  • We will explore how to discuss different types of abuse with clients, and reflect on our use of language.
