We are a group of of North London Jewish Women, horrified by the war of attrition against the Gazan population. We are keen to make it more widely known that there are many Jewish people who feel as we do as this gets so little media attention. Under our banner of North London Peaceniks we are organising a benefit event for Gaza on Wed May 22 6.30-730pm, at our local arts cinema Arthouse Crouch End, to raise money for Medical Aid for Palestinians (M.A.P). We will be showing Farah Nabulsi’s incredibly powerful short film The Present and hearing from a few speakers, after which we invite everyone to meet in the bar to share thoughts about the film, the situation and how we can help.
