SYMPOSIUM SPEAKERS:
Dr David Marlin
A leading scientist, he has worked at the forefront of equine research for over 30 years. He is currently President of the UK National Equine Welfare Council and the Internationally established Sport Horse Welfare Foundation.
Dr Jane Williams
Jane is an Associate Professor and Head of Research at Hartpury University. She is an experienced researcher, with a passion for enhancing equine performance and wellbeing.
Mr Roly Owers
A qualified veterinary surgeon and Chief Executive of the charity World Horse Welfare since 2008. He regularly liaises on policy with Defra, the devolved administrations and Ministers.
Dr Meta Osborne
A vet who has specialised in equine stud medicine and co-owner of Tinnakill House stud farm. In 2023 she completed an MSc in Animal Welfare, Ethics & Law at the University of Edinburgh.
