The 2026 Women in Power Spaces Convening

According to the World Economic Forum, the world is still 123 years away from parity across economic participation, educational attainment, quality of health and safety, and political empowerment. Women are still fighting for every inch of progress! Hosted by the North Orange County Community College District, the 2nd Annual Women in Power Spaces (WiPS) Convening will examine how women can bridge the gap between where we are now and where we want to be. 

Want to figure out how to bridge these gaps? Registration for this year’s WiPS Convening is now open! This all-day event will take place on Thursday, September 17, 2026, at the Fullerton Community Center. The Convening will interrogate a multitude of gaps—wealth, political representation, empowerment, and creative—while focusing on practical ways to move forward.

Hear from compelling speakers such as Rebecca Traister, author of Good and Mad: The Revolutionary Power of Women's Anger; and Policy Director and Deputy Legal Director at Equal Rights Associates Jessica Stender.
