North Shore Hunting Club Cast and Blast 2026

Please join us for the North Shore Hunting Club’s 3rd Annual Jon Masiz Memorial Cast and Blast Fishing Tournament, a family-friendly catch-and-release event celebrating a shared passion for fishing, the outdoors, and time spent on the water.

Participants may fish anywhere within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts beginning at 5:00 PM on September 11, 2026 through midnight on September 12, 2026.

Awards will be given for:
• 1st Place – Longest Fish on the Fly
• 2nd Place – Longest Fish on Artificial Lure
• 3rd Place – Longest Fish on Bait

All fish must be photographed on an approved measuring device and submitted to the official tournament email for judging.

Following the tournament, please join us for a cookout, raffle, and awards gathering on September 13, 2026 from 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM at Rockport American Legion Post 98: 32 Beach Street, Rockport

Whether you fish from shore, kayak, skiff, or boat, come enjoy a weekend of friendly competition, conservation, and great memories in honor of Jon Masiz.

We are excited to announce our new Kids' Division: Cumulative Length Challenge! Young anglers can tally up the length of every fish they land throughout the tournament. For example, catching fifteen 10-inch fish adds up to 150 total inches toward your score. Every single catch counts toward the leaderboard!
