About the project
Northumberland County Council and the Rural Design Centre are working on a project called 'Farming in a Changing Climate' to explore how we can overcome non-technical barriers to reducing greenhouse emissions whilst supporting agricultural businesses to build resilience and long term sustainability. The project is funded by Innovate UK and will run until June 2025. Insights gathered through this work will be used to inform future Council work to support Northumberland's farming and rural communities.
