Step inside Northumberland Haunted Museum for an evening dedicated to two of the oldest methods used to sense energy and seek answers from beyond, dowsing and scrying.

We'll begin with the folklore and history behind both practices, including their roots here in Northumberland, before moving into hands-on learning. You'll be guided through using a pendulum, including how to calibrate your own yes and no, then put it into practice by sketching a simple plan of your own home or workplace and dowsing over it to find where the energy shifts. You'll also learn a body scan technique using the pendulum, a simple practice you can keep using on yourself long after the evening ends.

After a short break, we move on to dowsing rods and candlelit scrying, gazing into mirror and water to receive impressions and visions, an old and atmospheric practice best experienced in person.

Every guest takes home their own crystal pendulum, so you leave not just with an experience but with a tool and the skills to keep using it.

Parking:
On street parking is available outside the museum for up to 1 hour. There is also a public car park a short distance away on the high street if you need longer.

Please arrive a few minutes before 7pm so we can start promptly. This workshop is suitable for beginners, no previous experience needed.
