Plant Hunters Fair

Sun 31 May 2026 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM Norton Priory Museum and Gardens, WA7 1SX

Plant Hunters' Fairs returns to Norton Priory on Sunday 31st May!

A special sale of interesting and unusual plants and garden accessories, from a range of independent nurseries and specialist suppliers.

The fair is held next to the 2.5 acre Georgian Walled Garden, with free car parking and homemade refreshments for sale.

The two and a half acre walled garden was built between 1757 and 1770 for the Brooke family, the owners of Norton Priory. When the Brookes left it became neglected and overgrown, until work began in 1980 to reclaim it. The Walled Garden has been recreated as a typical Georgian Walled Garden. It was essentially a kitchen garden, and would have been the source of fruit, begetables and flowers for the mansion house. Today there is an orchard, a fruit garden, a vegetable garden, various ornamental borders and the rose walk.

Norton Priory is home of the National Collection of Tree Quince (Cydonia Oblonga).

Entry to the Plant Hunters Fair £1 per person.

There is a special Garden Only ticket available on the day for £5 per adult, children under 16 are free.

There is a special Early Bird ticket for the whole site, including access to the Plant Fair, Walled Garden, Museum and Woodlands for £9 per adult, children under 16 free. (On the day price £13.50 per adult).

Plant Fair and Walled Garden open 10am – 4pm.

Museum and Woodlands open 10am – 5pm.
