Mad About Moths: Discover Garden Moths Evening with Halton Nature Watch

Are you interested in the nocturnal creatures of Halton? Come along and Join Halton Nature Watch, Halton Moth group and Norton Priory for an evening of getting to know the wonderful world of Moths. Learn Identification of the different Moths, How to set up your own moth trap in your garden and dispel some of the myths surrounding these wonderful and important night species. 

As the temperature drops in the evening, please wear suitable clothing for being out in the gardens.

We also recommend bringing a camping chair for sitting around the moth traps, sunglasses to protect eye from the lights, a torch for moving around in the dark, and a non-alcoholic drink. 

This event takes place in the Walled Garden at Norton Priory Museum & Gardens. Please follow signs to park and meet at the Walled Garden for 8pm.
