Thumbelina

There was once a little girl so small she could float on a lily pad and ride on the back of a dragonfly. They called her Thumbelina.

Enjoy Hans Christian Andersen’s tale of a girl no bigger than a thumb and her adventures along the riverbank. Follow Thumbelina's encounters with a frog, mouse, mole and swallow, leading her to ultimate happiness in the kingdom of flowers. This gentle show is played amongst gardening tools, with traditional glove, rod and shadow puppets.

Thumbelina is an excellent introduction to the magic of theatre for young children and families.
