Biggest, Tallest, Longest - Family Puppet-Making Workshop

This family session focuses on the art of the extra-long body and the super-tall neck.

We’ve raided the craft store to bring you a mountain of "stretchy" materials: bendy pipes, colourful foam tubes, giant springy coils, and yards of flowing patterned fabrics.

Whether you’re designing a graceful giraffe, a long-necked Loch Ness monster, or a towering alien from a distant planet, we’ll show you how to make their heads bob and their bodies sway!

Further Information 

Children must be accompanied by a paying adult. Carer discounts are available for those who need additional support.

These workshops are for ages 4+ due to the difficulty level. There is no suggested upper age limit, as this activity is designed for grown-ups to enjoy as well. Unfortunately, we cannot allow younger children or prams into the workshop room, as space is limited.

Please be aware that you may be sharing your table with another family.

Additional Access

These workshops will take place in the Octagon Studio, which is level access and suitable for wheelchair users. There is a narrow medieval doorway between the Octagon and the bar, so wheelchair users will have to take a slightly longer route for this journey.
