Join artist Becca Barry for a chilled-out two-day workshop exploring the wonderful world of animation.

On day one, you will be experimenting with a variety of animation techniques, such as plasticine armature puppets, object animation and cut-out animation. Then on day two, you will use what you’ve learned to start creating your own animated film, taking it in any direction you choose.

These sociable workshops are all about having fun, playing with materials and learning some new skills.

Participants will need to bring their own tablet or smart phone with them. This way, you will be able to continue to work on your animations at home. We will ask all participants to download a free app onto their device before attending the workshop. An email will be sent out closer to the time to explain.

This workshop is for ages 16+, but 16 and 17 year olds must be accompanied by a paying adult.

This is a two-day workshop running on Sat 15 and Sun 16 October, 10am - 4pm both days.

There will be a break for lunch each day, food is not provided.
