This special evening of story reading will be celebrating seven centuries of women's writing: stories and poems from Medieval to Modern ... with a nod to Norfolk ... honouring International Women's Day.

For two evenings once again Naomi (Inanna's Magical Gifts shop, St Andrew's Hill, Norwich) offers selections from her personal collections of books some selected short stories and poems from some of her favourite women writers. From Julian of Norwich to Joan Aiken, with texts spanning over seven hundred years of time, and with a particular nod to Norwich and Norfolk ... come join us in the cosy Studio room by lamplight as Naomi reads stories and poems to enliven, to inspire, to amuse, to consider and to celebrate the creativity of women writers at International Women's Day Tickets tend to sell very fast for these evenings with Naomi as so many previous attendees snap up tickets as soon as they become available - so choose your evening and book without delay!

This event is for grown-ups (ages 14+), due to the themes of the stories.

Every previous Story-Reading Evening of Naomi’s has sold out well ahead of time, so please don’t delay in booking your ticket!
The café will be open, offering hot and cold drinks, and snacks.
