At No Ties, we believe great networking events serve two purposes: Growing your business is, obviously, one of them. But the other one has way more to do with wanting to get away from the desk for a bit and having a chat with other business owners.

So yes, we believe in collaboration over competition: We are all about meeting potential new clients or customers and catching up with existing contacts. But we also enjoy having a natter, sharing experiences, asking for advice & learning new skills.

Because, let's be honest, as small business owners, sole traders and freelancers, it can be tiring to wear all of the hats and juggle the day-to-day (mostly) by ourselves. And who says networking can't be about support and collaboration as well? Exactly. No one.

Networking, support & collaboration

Good networking helps grow your network, great networking helps grow your business. And we have put together a structure for our events that makes sure you get the most out of your networking session:

1. Small group events: We find it very important that you have enough time to mingle & have a real conversation with other attendees. That's why we limit numbers at our events to 25 attendees. (Find out what to do when all tickets are gone below!)

2. Small breakout rooms: At No Ties, everyone gets the opportunity to get to know the other attendees in at least two small group breakout sessions with no more than 5 people per room.

3. Quick Introduction round: We want to find out all about you and your business, so we have a quick introduction round where you can tell us what you do and what you're looking for. But we want to keep it short and simple, so everyone gets 60 seconds.

4. Lightning talk: We want to learn from each other and improve our business skills. So, every month, we have a different speaker sharing their expertise and giving us practical tips and advice in a 15-minute talk followed by a Q&A. No sales pitches here.

– Important Info: Zoom & Waitlist –

Our events are often fully booked, so if you can't make it after all, please let us know as soon as possible. This way others get a chance to attend.

So, if the event is fully booked but you'd like to attend, simply check back to see if any tickets have been released. In our experience, most cancellations happen in the two days before the event.

Also, please double-check that you get a booking confirmation to secure your place!
