Rules and "small print"
By buying a ticket for Nottsbound you agree to abide by the following rules:
- Entry & ID Requirements:
The minimum age is 18, anyone who appears to be under 21 must bring ID, entry will be refused if we believe you could be under-age. - Dress Code:
Nottsbound does not enforce a strict dress code like some events however gear is highly encouraged. We understand that some who are new to events like this are just starting out and may not yet have any suitable gear and we don't want you to feel nervous over if your attire will be suitable. Nottsbound is a great opportunity to try out gear so for those curious as to what certain materials may feel like to wear before spending a load of cash, please ask in the appropriate thread and you may get lucky! Each month we will have an optional theme however please don't worry if you don't have any gear for the theme or simply don't like the theme gear. - Consent & Conduct:
• Non-consensual touching is forbidden.
• "No" means no. If you ask someone to play and they decline, that is final, you are not owed an explanation.
• Harassment will result in removal from the event and a ban.
• Explicit permission from all persons is required to start or join a scene in progress.
• Discuss limits before starting and when new players join.
• A closed door to the Wet or Medical rooms signals a private scene. Do not enter unless invited. DMs may enter after knocking. If unsure, ask a DM rather than checking yourself. - Dungeon Monitors (DM’s):
Identifiable by their lanyards. For help, concerns or questions approach them first. - Respect Scenes:
• Keep dungeon conversations to a minimum.
• Do not interrupt scenes or aftercare. Seek consent before joining a scene/aftercare in progress, but first assess whether it’s appropriate. The social area is available for discussions, conversations etc.
• Noisy play is fine if appropriate to the scene, but if you are not playing and wish to talk, please remove yourselves to the social area or save the discussion to later. - Equipment Use:
• Clean the equipment after use.
• Protective sheets must be used for messy play (e.g. wax).
• Play at your own risk.
• Ask DMs for help with unfamiliar equipment.
• Inform a DM if something appears non-functional. - Food & Drink:
Only water is permitted in the main dungeon and must be in a *non-glass* container. - Illicit Drugs:
Oasis Image Studio has a Zero Tolerance policy towards illicit drugs. This encompasses you not being under the influence when arriving and using illicit drugs whilst on our premises. Please be aware breaches will result in you being kicked and banned from future events. - Alcohol:
We do not allow the consumption of alcohol at any of our events; we are a ‘DRY’ venue. BDSM and alcohol are NOT a good mix. All soft drinks, tea & coffee will be provided free of charge. - Smoking:
Smoking is only permitted in the designated smoking area. This area is sheltered and also screened meaning you do not need to get changed or to cover up to use it. - Phones & Photography:
• Phones are permitted in the dungeon for scene-related use only (e.g. audio playback, electro-box control). If you just want to look at Twitter/Fetlife etc, please do that in the social area.
• For the privacy of our attendees, photography is prohibited unless by the official photographer or approved by a DM. - Restricted and Prohibited Play:
• Scat Play: Prohibited in all areas.
• Blood, needles and any medical: ONLY permitted in the dedicated medical room. All sharps must be disposed of in a suitable sharps container and NOT the general bins!
• Watersports & Sploshing: Permitted only in the dedicated wet room, Clean up after yourself.
• Penetrative Play (organic and toys): Only permitted in private rooms with door closed.
• Hand jobs/masturbation: only allowed as part of a scene, please do not just stand in a corner wanking.
• "CNC" play without a safeword is not permitted at Nottsbound. - Safety
• All activities must be between consenting adults.
• Discuss and respect limits, ensure continuous communication.
• Attendees are responsible for their own safety and their play partners.
• Consent must be explicitly given before play or joining a scene in-progress.
• Where verbal responses are not possible (e.g. gagged), discuss alternative ways of communicating safe words and permission for others to join (e.g. hand signals).
• For group play, assign a group leader to communicate the sub’s limits to new players where the sub is unable to. They must also inform a DM that a group scene is taking place so the DM can monitor safety.
• Nottsbound uses the "traffic light" safeword system, reminders will be displayed in the dungeon.
• In the event of the safeword “RED” being called (or agreed alternative if gagged), play must stop, inform a DM immediately to perform a safety check-in. The scene must stop. If both parties wish to continue, only the impartial DM can give the final go ahead. If unsatisfied by the DM response, check in with the host. The host of the event has final say.
• Never leave restricted people unattended. If necessary (e.g. bathroom break), inform a DM to monitor the restricted person while you’re gone.
• The crew reserve the right to stop any activity which we believe is too unsafe. - Aftercare:
If you participated in a scene, ensure everyone is ok afterwards.
