Highfields Fire Station, NG9 2GQ
Description
The Local Resilience Forum (LRF) are hosting a FREE course for Middle Managers who will be nominated to attend a Tactical Co-ordinating Group (TCG).
In the event of a large-scale emergency, major or critical incident, a multi-agency TCG may be convened to provide overall co-ordination for a tactical response to the incident.
The aim of the course is to explore the role and responsibilities of the Nottingham and Nottinghamshire TCG using emergency situations recently experienced and currently anticipated in the UK.
This full day training course will be delivered by a multi-agency team of trainers drawn from local responding organisations and includes presentations and multi-agency syndicate work based on emergency scenarios.
The aim of the course is to:
- Identify the tactical implications of a range of possible incidents and the role and aims of the TCG in each scenario
- Discuss the integration of the TCG in widespread incidents where local or national management structures are in operation
- Discuss methods of ensuring the TCG operates effectively including lessons learned from previous incidents
The event is being held at Highfields Fire Station. Refreshments and lunch will be provided.
We are currently limiting tickets to two per organisation, however if any spaces become available closer to the event date then we will let you know.
You can cancel your reservation for free up to two weeks before the course date by notifying the address below. After that, a cancellation fee of £100 will be charged. Your place can be transferred to a colleague free of charge at any time.
