Multi-agency Operational Response Training

The Local Resilience Forum (LRF) are hosting a free course for personnel who are likely to respond to multi-agency emergencies.

This full day of introductory training will be delivered by a multi-agency team of trainers drawn from local responding organisations and includes presentations and group sessions covering many aspects of emergency planning, response and recovery.

The aim of the course is for delegates to develop the understanding of multi-agency operational responses to major or complex incidents or emergencies.

Learning Objectives:

• Explain the structure of emergency preparedness in Nottinghamshire 
• Provide an understanding of multi-agency response arrangements 
• Consider the impacts of an operational response on the longer-term recovery 

This course is for personnel who may have a role in emergency response to a multi-agency incident, either at the incident scene, or within their organisational structure. Personnel who have a role in emergency planning within partner organisations are also welcome.

The event is being held in the Assembly Hall, Third Floor, Worksop Town Hall, Bridge St, Worksop S80 1DG

In the first instance delegates should sign in at Main Reception inside Queen’s Building.

Please note that there is no public parking available on-site. The nearest public car park is behind the Savoy Cinema off Newgate Street S80 2HD, which is pay and display and costs £4 for all day parking.

Refreshments and lunch will be provided.

We are currently limiting tickets to two per organisation, however if any spaces become available closer to the event date then we will let you know.

You can cancel your reservation for free up to two weeks before the course date by notifying the email address below. After that, a cancellation fee of £200 will be charged. Your place can be transferred to a colleague free of charge at any time.
