Unleash your inner artist

After the initial success of the first workshop, the Sculpting Masterclass returns to Nourished Communities with a brand new theme: Portraiture. This isn’t just about sculpting a likeness - it’s an invitation to connect, observe, and see beyond the surface.
This session will guide you through the fascinating process of sculpting a realistic human head - learning how to capture proportions, form, and facial expressions while understanding the deeper meaning behind a face.

🎨 What You’ll Learn
In this hands-on 3-hour experience, you’ll:
-
Discover the fundamentals of portrait sculpting: structure, proportion, and anatomy.
-
Learn how to express emotion and character through subtle facial details.
-
Practice observation using live models and portraiture references.
-
Reflect on deeper questions: What does it really mean to capture someone’s essence? Is identity only in the face — or also in their thoughts, memories, and passions?
You can choose to sculpt a friend, work from provided portrait references, or bring your own printed images (ideally showing multiple angles: front, side, top, back).

👋 Beginner Friendly
No previous sculpting experience needed. Whether you’re an artist, a beginner, or simply curious — this masterclass welcomes all levels in a supportive, relaxed environment.
