Nourished Communities Food Festival | Big Penny Social | Dance Workshop

Waggle Dance Co. is buzzing into E17! We’re bringing a high-energy, nature-inspired creative dance session to Big Penny Social, and we want you on the dancefloor.

GOT A KID WHO LIKES TO PULL SHAPES?

Led by professional choreographer Jessica Birks, this 60-minute workshop channels all that festival excitement into a celebration of movement. Designed for ages 4–11, we’ll be stretching, jumping, twisting, and waggling our way to a brand-new routine.

What to expect:

• Shake, Make & Create: A nature-inspired workshop where kids add their own unique moves.

• Empowering Energy: Designed to boost confidence and get those "move-it move-it" spirits soaring.

• Inclusive Fun: No previous dance experience necessary—just bring your energy!

SESSION TIME:

• Session 1: [11:30am - 12:30pm]

ABOUT WAGGLE DANCE CO.

Founded by Jessica Birks (trained at LIPA & Bodyworks Company Cambridge), Waggle Dance Co. is a Prince’s Trust-supported initiative. From running sessions at Fearne Cotton’s Happy Place Festival, to ‘Dance Maven’ an Ace funded dance & dyslexia programme in North London. Jess is a movement specialist with over a decade of experience inspiring the next generation of young artists.
