Core training: "You can trust me with the truth."

As a leader, you probably aspire to build a team culture that’s open, collaborative, and effective. And yet, most leaders have to learn how to do this on the job with little guidance. Do any of these challenges sound familiar?

  • Your company is growing and you feel disconnected from your employees.
  • Meetings are full of vague niceties that don’t get to the heart of things.
  • Problems surface when they’re too big or too late.
  • Team members act like everything is going well, but you sense whispers of discontent.
  • Leadership feels lonely - people aren’t as candid or forthcoming with you as they used to be.

In any organization, and especially as teams grow and change, it’s very common to struggle with communication and scaling trust. The good news is that leaders can steward a team culture of openness and candor.

With the right skills, you can build a team culture where:

  • You model open communication that spreads throughout your team.
  • Team members feel safer and more trusting
  • There’s a working environment that leverages team members’ full potential and brings out the best in your team.
  • You spot and address team members’ struggles early and course correct, improving the chances of long-term retention.
  • People talk openly together, adapt to change, and deliver solutions to hard problems.

This workshop offers a space to go beyond theory, so you can practice leadership skills with your peers. Interactive exercises offer a chance to rehearse courageous conversations and receive feedback on your growth edges. You’ll learn how to:

  • Structure feedback conversations to create the conditions for candor.
  • Ask questions that surface constructive and actionable feedback.
  • Build awareness of how your leadership role impacts open communication.

You’ll walk away with templates to prepare for feedback conversations, frameworks for navigating them, and a growing confidence in your ability to foster trust-based feedback culture.

Who this workshop is for

  • People that lead teams, formally or informally
  • Leaders who value open, candid communication
  • People that are growth-minded and open to trying new things
