Join us in-person for the launch of our new report which explores how charities are coping with a rise in children and young people seeking mental health support.

The state of children and young people’s mental health in the UK makes for difficult reading. According to recent survey data from NHS Digital, one in five young people living in England aged between 8 and 25 years had a probable mental health disorder in 2023.

However, with NHS mental health services struggling to meet demand across the UK, charities are fast becoming the last line of defence in the fight for young people's mental health.

In this event we will share our key findings on:

1. The current landscape for children and young people's mental health.
2. How charities are adapting to increasing demand.
3. Priority areas that need urgent investment from funders.

The event will be chaired by Emily Wheeler, NPC Trustee, who will be joined by Ndidi Okezie, Chief Executive, UK Youth; Antonio Ferreira, Multi-award-winning Mental Health Activist & Anti-Racism Campaigner and Anne Kent-Taylor, Charity Director, Blue Smile.
