How can trustees be more adaptive and systemic?

Thu 8 May 2025 12:30 PM - 2:00 PM BST Online, Zoom

About this event

Charities are becoming accustomed to adopting more agile ways of working. But many trustees feel tension between being flexible and ensuring effective oversight. And between more systemic ways of working and traditional models of governance and reporting.

So, what do more adaptive and more systemic approaches mean for governance?

What will we cover?

We will be joined by experts from the sector to share key tips for trustees on how to find the balance between adaptive and systemic approaches and governance. The seminar will include:

  • What more adaptive strategy approaches mean for governance
  • How trustees can empower and lead more systemic working
  • Meeting legal responsibilities in times of rapid change.

Who is it for?

This event is free and open to all trustees, with a particular focus on those of small and medium-sized organisations.
