About this event
When organisations work well, their different parts move together in sync. Structure, culture, core processes, decision‑making, and systems all shape how work gets done, forming an interconnected puzzle.
This often comes into focus when an organisation wants to take things to the next level. Perhaps there is a new or evolving strategy, and a sense that the organisation needs to change to deliver it, but it is not yet clear where to begin. Should the focus be on structure, ways of working, leadership behaviours, or decision‑making? And how do you avoid pulling on one thread without understanding what else it is connected to?
In this session, we’ll step back to look at organisations as whole systems. Drawing on a small set of organisational archetypes, we will explore how these elements interact and evolve over time. Through practical examples, we will reflect together on how a change in one area reshapes what is possible elsewhere, and how to work with what already exists to identify the missing piece.
This session will focus on insight and inspiration rather than right answers, helping participants see organisations more clearly and consider new ways of moving forward with greater coherence, confidence, and impact.
Who is this event for?
This session is for funders, philanthropists and grant-makers. There will be an opportunity to share your experiences and ask questions of the team.
