Open to all schools for individual or team entry

U8-U19 age categories

Event schedule will be posted when entries received

For individuals, all details must be completed on the entry form

FOR SCHOOLS TEAMS ENTRIES, please download, complete and return this spreadsheet to us when you make your entry - Failure to do so by the closing date of June 16th June may result in your entry being refused.

DAY MEMBERSHIP - This is required if you do not have the required third party insurance - This insurance will be in place if your school is a member of the NSSA or the racer is a member of Snowsport England or your school may have the cover in place (you will need to check)

Invitation and entry

This event is open to school teams and individuals from all schools across the UK

The exact schedule for the day will be decided when all entries have been received and

will be dependent on any regulations at the time.

All team members who complete at least one run will be given an individual ranking

(fastest run will count for the results).

RULES AND CONDITIONS

1. The event is open to boys and girls in teams from the same school or individuals.

2. It is expected that all teams will be in the charge of a member of school staff or a parent

with permission from the school.

3. Children must be attending the school they are representing during the Summer term

2026. Schools that cover all the age groups can enter up to 16 children each in both the

Junior and Senior schools sessions but no child can race in both events. More children may

be permitted to enter once we reach the closing date for entries.

4. Competitors must be able to ski under control. Please do not bring children unless you

are sure they are capable of riding a button lift and skiing the whole slope in control.

5. The age groups are: U08, U10, U12, U14, U16, U19.

6. Age of competitors are based on their Year of Birth as we will be running with age

groups as per the International Ski Federation

7. FOUR skiers from a school make up a team (three will do), with the best scoring 3

racers to count. and can be of mixed age group and gender.

18. Results will be determined as follows:

Teams - This will be done by achieving points per placing in age groups and awards will

be given for 1st teams in the following categories in both the morning and the afternoon.

Boys team, Girls team and Mixed team.

The winning team will be the one that accrues the most points across the highest scoring

three of the four members. In the case of a draw, we will use the times of those exact

racers to differentiate the places.

Individuals - The fastest individual time of the two runs

9. Entries must be made online, supported by the Racer details spreadsheet form

Entries close on June 15th 2026 (or before, if the race becomes oversubscribed) PLEASE

NOTE – in most years, this race is oversubscribed so we advise early entry).

Names of skiers must be submitted by 15th June 2026 and team changes after this date

will not be permitted without supporting medical evidence. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO

CANCEL PLACES IF WE HAVE NOT RECEIVED THIS SPREADSHEET BY THE

CLOSING DATE

10. Entries not complying with the rules will not be accepted.

11. Any matter arising on the day which is not covered by these rules will be determined

by the race jury, whose decision is final.

12. Further information will be sent by email using mailchimp. It is essential that you

ensure the email address you supply is accurate and clear and that your server will

accept these mails. We cannot be responsible for issues with your mail system. Please

2also check our social media for updates as this will be the most current source of

information.

13. The entry fee will be - £40.00 per individual. If you wish, you may make the online

entry initially with no names but the names of skiers MUST be provided by the specified

date. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CANCEL PLACES IF WE HAVE NOT RECEIVED

THIS SPREADSHEET BY THE CLOSING DATE

Payment MUST be made online.

14. Please indicate the name(s) of your race volunteer(s) on the racer spreadsheet. It is a

condition of entry that schools should provide one race volunteer per school.

15. It is a rule of the Snow Centre that all racers must wear a ski helmet. These can be

borrowed, as can boots, skis and sticks (included in entry fee).

16. Parents/teachers/coaches may NOT be present on snow side, the start ramp,

or top of the slope – we staff the race with professional coaches who can assist

where necessary.


This event is being run by the National Schools Snowsports Association

We will be running training sessions specifically for this race and this can be

booked or bespoke training organised at with Impulse by contacting
