10 artworks reimagined in sound
From Korean shamanic rhythms and Jindo Arirang to flamenco, Hemingway, and Le Corbusier — this one-of-a-kind performance reimagines global artworks through music.
Led by composer and visual artist Nubim, and performed by the Nubim Kim Group, a Dutch superband, Connectivity blends jazz, Korean tradition, and global art into a vivid musical conversation — not mere crossover.

Details coming soon.
🎌 Project Highlights
▪ Modernization of Korean Traditional Arts
Shamanic ritual music, folk rhythms, and melodies like Jindo Arirang
are reinterpreted by Western musicians — not imitated, but recreated through equal and dynamic collaboration.
▪ Musical Reinterpretation of Global Art
From flamenco to The Old Man and the Sea, from architectural ideas to sonic landscapes --
the project translates visual and literary inspiration into original music.
Highlights include:
🎵 Fierce Footsteps – flamenco meets contemporary classical
🎵 A Strong Will – based on Hemingway’s novel
▪ Reimagined Solos
Five well-known pieces are reworked to reflect each performer’s individual style and identity,
bringing the project’s theme of connectivity to life on stage.
🎌 This project is part of North Sea Round Town and supported by Gemeente Rotterdam and Sena Fonds.
