Nupur Arts proudly presents Aspire, an exciting project offering a variety of FREE courses designed to jumpstart your career in the creative sector. Whether you’re drawn to theatre, event management, or seeking expert career advice, Aspire has something for you! Plus, earn UCAS points with an Arts Award (accredited by Trinity College London) to boost your university application! This opportunity is for ages 14-25 who are looking to gain hands-on experience in the following fields below.

What We Offer: 

• Theatre Technical Skills (Led by The Y Theatre): Master the essentials of lighting and sound that make a production shine.

  - Dates: Lighting Workshop - Tuesday 3rd December 2024  | Sound Workshop - Thursday 5th December 2024

  - Times: 6pm - 7:30pm 

  - Location: The Y Theatre, 7 East St, Leicester LE1 6EY

  All training provided in this course will be put into practice at our Awards Ceremony on Sunday 15th December 2024 at The Y Theatre from 2:30pm - 4:30pm.

• Event Management (16+ only - Led by Francesca Picciano Moss): Learn the ins and outs of planning and coordinating events. 

  - Dates: Saturday 30th November 2024

  - Times: 11am - 4:30pm

  - Location: Curve Theatre, 60 Rutland St, Leicester LE1 1SB

  All training provided in this course will be put into practice at our Awards Ceremony on Sunday 15th December 2024 at The Y Theatre from 2:30pm - 4:30pm.

• Career Development: Receive expert guidance on applying for jobs, building your profile and transferable skills, along with invaluable tips for self-employment.

  Dates: Every Wednesdays from 22nd January 2025 - 12th February 2025 

  Times: 4:30pm-6pm

  Location: Youth Education Project, 17 Gower Street, Leicester, LE1 3LH
