Pottery & Lunch at Nuroosa

A cosy, creative Sunday to slow down, unwind and enjoy doing something just for you.

Come and spend a Sunday at Nuroosa, with good food, warm drinks, a glass of wine and three hours of getting your hands stuck into clay.

We’ll start gently from 9.30am with coffee, tea and pastries before settling into a fully guided pottery workshop with Vicky Scotcher from Pottery Homes.

Over three hours, Vicky will show you how to use a slab-building technique to create your own unique and functional clay butter dish. You don’t need any previous pottery experience — she’ll guide you through the whole process, so you can simply relax, have a go and enjoy making something with your hands.

Your butter dish will then be taken away to dry, fire and glaze, ready for you to collect approximately 3–6 weeks later. The exact collection date will be confirmed at the workshop.

Tea and coffee will be available throughout the morning.

Then it’s time to slow down over a two-course warm, seasonal lunch from Holly at Cherry Pickle Catering, with a choice of main and dessert, with a glass of wine.

And before you head home, you’ll also take away a bunch of Nuroosa eucalyptus - a little something from the place to enjoy at home in your festive arrangements.
