The Anté Dote × Avi Schneider - Spoken Word & Violin

This evening is a collaboration of two long time friends, meeting to share their musings, truths, and existence through two distinct mediums, using words and sounds.
The Anté Dote will be sharing spoken word pieces, accompanied and mutually inspired by the improvised soundscapes of Avi on Violin, mandolin and electronic tools

A 'Spoken Word Artist'. That is: an artist who speaks words, 'artistically': incantations, incarnations, musings, daydreams, wanderings, sabbaticals and resurrections. Some of them ongoing.A spoken word artist. What is that?
Often asked..."It's like stand-up comedy. But without the comedy. And I don't usually stand up."
"Ahh, so you're a poet?""Hmm maybe, sort of, we're related... or, at least that's how I'm most commonly mis-gen(de)red...
"Anté prefers to think of himself as a story-teller, with the only requirement being that the stories must always be true (regardless of whether they happened or not), beautiful (at least in the eye of the beholding story-teller) and open to interpretation (at least in the mind of the receiving listener).
Anything else, including grammar, spelling, language or 'meaning', is permitted to roam and wander without bounds or limits.
