Jagged Little Pill follows the Healy family in Connecticut as they unravel, tackling heavy themes including opioid addiction, sexual assault, racial identity, and LGBTQIA+ issues. Following the "picture-perfect" Healy family whose facade crumbles due to, among other things, mother Mary Jane’s secret addiction to painkillers, a father's disconnectedness, and their adopted daughter's struggle with racial identity.
