Join us at Oaken Grove Vineyard for an afternoon of Jazz, accompanied by delicious local Wine and Food.

Art Themen has been a major player on the British jazz scene since the 1960s, his highly original style being heard most notably alongside Stan Tracey. Join us for an enjoyable, relaxed afternoon’s jazz listening to popular tunes interpreted by Themen. He is supported by Dave Newton - principal lecturer in Jazz Piano at Leeds College of Music and voted ‘best Jazz Pianist’ for the sixteenth time in the British Jazz Awards - and Andy Crowdy, a highly rated bass player who has performed with many leading UK players including Gary Potter, Diz Disley, Clark Tracey, Alan Barnes and Tina May as well as touring all over the world with Lillian Boutte. Perfect accompaniment to Oaken Grove’s bubbly!

Vineyard gates open at 1:30pm and guests are welcome to enjoy drinks on the wine terrace before the jazz starting at around 3pm.

Tables for 6, 3 and 2 people are available to and each table will be served a delicious grazing box full of local cheeses, charcutierie, nuts and fruits (vegetarian and vegan boxes available on request).  Wines from our own vineyard as well as some other local guest wines and local beers will also be available for purchase.  Each table of six people will also receive a complimentary bottle of Oaken Grove Vineyard wine.
