Guided History Walk at the Oakham Canal
- Learn about the history of the Oakham Canal and the Project's plans for the future
- The walk departs from Oakham Church Street Car Park and is approx. 5 miles
- Please allow 2½ - 3 hours for the walk
- Sorry no dogs
- Children must be accompanied by an adult
- Route unsuitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs
- Footpaths can be muddy after wet weather!
- Please wear appropriate clothing for the weather conditions
- Donations to the Oakham Canal Green Corridor Project are welcome when booking or on the day
- In the event of poor weather, walks may be cancelled at short notice. Customers will be offered a place on the next available walk
