The Oakland Magic Circle celebrates its 100th Anniversary by inviting the best magicians in Northern California to compete in this exciting stage magic contest. As a spectator you will witness top magicians presenting their best comedy and magic performances, preceded by a multi-course pasta dinner and close-up magic.
A family-friendly spectacular open to all magic enthusiasts and the general public, with a stellar line-up of magicians, live and in person! Before the show begins, you will enjoy a delicious multi-course dinner with pasta (choice of Bolognese or Vegetarian sauce), salad, vegetables, bread, drinks, and famous Mark Tarses chocolate covered cookies. You will dine among magicians and magic enthusiasts, being amazed by close-up magic performed at your table before the contest.
This event will take place on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at the beautiful Oakland Scottish Rite Center,1547 Lakeside Drive, Oakland, CA, 94612. Free lighted off-street parking in the fenced lot behind the Scottish Rite Center, opposite 1555 Madison Street. From the parking lot, walk around the building to the front side, facing Lake Merritt, and enter the main door of the building. Map.
As a bonus, Frisco Fred Anderson has just been announced as the Master of Ceremonies who will also perform magic while the stellar panel of judges make their decisions after the contestants have performed. Doors open at 5:30 PM with strolling magicians at the tables; pre-show dinner begins at 6 PM followed by the Northern California Magic Contest beginning at 7 PM.
Tickets on sale until Sunday, March 2 at Noon. Show-only tickets may be available at the door at 5:45 PM on the show night if space allows.
