Northern California Stage Magic Contest & Pasta Dinner presented by the Oakland Magic Circle

The Oakland Magic Circle invites the best magicians in Northern California to compete in this exciting stage magic contest. As a spectator you will witness top magicians presenting their best magic performances filled with wonder and comedy, preceded by a multi-course pasta dinner and close-up magic.

A family-friendly spectacular open to all magic enthusiasts and the general public, with a stellar line-up of magicians, live and in person!

Before the show begins, your dinner will include pasta (choice of Bolognese or Vegetarian sauce), salad, vegetables, bread, drinks, and a famous Mark Tarses chocolate covered cookies. You will dine among magicians and magic enthusiasts, being amazed by close-up magic performed at your table before the contest.

This event will take place on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at the beautiful Oakland Scottish Rite Center,1547 Lakeside Drive, Oakland, CA, Free lighted off-street parking in the fenced lot behind the Scottish Rite Center, opposite 1555 Madison Street. From the parking lot, walk around the building to the front side, facing Lake Merritt, and enter the main door of the building. Map.

Doors open at 5:30 PM with strolling magicians at the tables; pre-show dinner begins at 6 PM followed by the Northern California Magic Contest beginning at 7 PM.

Tickets on sale until Sunday, February 1 at Noon. Show-only tickets may be available at the door at 5:45 PM on the show night if space allows.

The Oakland Magic Circle was founded in 1925 and is the longest continuously running independent magic club west of the Mississippi.
