Join us at Oaklands this spring for our latest musical hit! School of Rock follows Dewey Finn, an out-of-work wannabe rock singer and guitarist who steals the identity of his teacher best friend and takes a job as a substitute teacher at the prestigious Horace Green school. Dewey turns his class of straight-A students into a guitar-shredding, bass-slapping, mind-blowing rock band and enters them into a Battle of the Bands contest. There is mayhem, humour and surprise in store for everyone but most of all Ms Mullins, the uptight headmistress. Starring students from years 7-13 in cast, band and crew, School of Rock is a rock musical with music by Andrew Lloyd Webber, lyrics by Glenn Slater and a book by Julian Fellowes. It is based on the 2003 film of the same name, written by Mike White.
