Come and join us for a night of music and dancing.

We are gathering to honour the life of Rick Oakes, a beloved husband, father and friend, who sadly lost his battle with Mesothelioma—an aggressive and rare cancer caused by exposure to asbestos. This illness attacks the lining of the lungs and often goes undetected until it’s advanced, making treatment incredibly challenging.

Despite this, Rick faced every step with unwavering strength and positivity. A man of drive and determination, he built a successful career, and outside of work, he found great joy in golf, cars, and time with those he loved. This event has been designed with touches of Rick’s passions throughout, as we raise funds and awareness for Mesothelioma research and support. Your donations will go to the charities that supported us in our time of need: Mesothelioma UK, St Leonards hospice, SARAG, Marie Curie and Macmillan Cancer Support. They were absolute angels throughout his care. Through this, we hope to honour his legacy and help others facing this difficult disease.

Tickets for the night can be purchased through the below link. There is also the option to donate an amount if you are unable to join us on the night. All donations greatly appreciated!

On the night we will have food and entertainment including: Buffet dinner, Live music with saxophone, singer and DJ, raffle and auction. Dress code is smart casual.
