Beyond the Service: The Power of Lived Experience

As part of the global 16 Days of Activism campaign, Oasis Domestic Abuse Service is hosting a series of webinars to raise awareness, share expertise and encourage action to end domestic abuse and gender-based violence.

What can we learn when we truly listen to those with first-hand experience of domestic abuse services? This session explores the insights, challenges and opportunities that lived experience brings to service design, delivery and professional practice. Attendees will gain a deeper understanding of the value of survivor voices and their role in shaping more responsive, effective and person-centred support.
