This August, the O’Carolan Harp Festival & Summer School is proud to present a unique and unforgettable evening with the legendary Seán Keane, joined by a stellar lineup of musicians for a special collaborative performance.

Taking place on Sunday, August 3rd at 9pm in St. Ronan’s Hall, the concert will see Seán sharing the stage with an extraordinary ensemble: Jimmy Higgins (percussion), Stephen Doherty (accordion, flute, keyboards), Kevin Doherty (bass), David Doocey (fiddle, dobro) and Patrick Doocey (guitar)

This powerful collaboration brings together some of the finest talents in Irish music, blending Seán’s distinctive and soulful vocals with dynamic, original instrumental arrangements from the band.

A highlight of the evening will be Seán’s performance of his latest single, “Carolan” — a new composition created in collaboration with songwriter Johnny B. Broderick and musician Ger O'Donnell. Inspired by a melody of Turlough O’Carolan himself, the song is a heartfelt tribute to the great composer, celebrating his enduring musical legacy.

Don’t miss this magical night of music, storytelling, and collaboration at the heart of the festival.
