OCD Action: 2023 National Conference
OCD Action: 2023 National Conference
Need help?
OCD Action is thrilled to announce the highly anticipated return of our in-person National Conference.
Join us on Saturday, 7th October, for a day filled with cutting-edge research, expert insights, and powerful discussions on accessing high-quality treatment for OCD.
👋 Who can attend?
Anyone affected by or interested in OCD and related conditions is welcome to attend.
Please note: Attendees under the age of 18 will have free access to the event but must be accompanied by a paying adult. The adult accompanying you should purchase a ticket for themselves plus a free 'Under 18s' ticket. We will require proof of age on the day. If you have any questions about this, please get in touch.
🎙️ Who will be speaking?
Prepare to be inspired by an extraordinary lineup of over 30 esteemed speakers, including much-loved community advocates and globally renowned expert clinicians. Click here to see a full list of speakers and sessions. After purchasing your ticket you will receive an email prompting you to book your breakout sessions - this is your chance to personalise your conference experience!
🎟️ Ticket Options
- General Admission: Pay just £25 to attend the conference in person and have the opportunity to book breakout sessions ahead of the day.
- Online (Livestream of the Main Stage): Watch the main stage events online in real-time for only £10 (please note that selecting this option does not grant you access to the venue in London).
- Professionals: We kindly ask those who are attending the conference to further their professional development to select the “Professionals” ticket for £40. Paying this slightly higher fee, if you can, is what will help us make the conference as engaging and useful as possible.
- Pay it Forward: Help others attend the conference by donating £5 to our Conference Bursary Fund (details below). Any excess funds will be used to cover other conference costs. Please note that purchasing a Pay it Forward ticket will not permit you entry to the conference.
💸 Discounts
- Members and Volunteers: Current OCD Action members and volunteers can enjoy 1/3 off ticket prices using the discount code emailed to them. Select ‘General Admission’ and apply your discount at checkout.
- Students: Students aged 18 and over and in full-time university or college education are eligible for a 20% discount with their student card. Please email us for a student discount code before purchasing a ticket.
- Under 18s: People under the age of 18 will have free access to the event but must be accompanied by a paying adult. The adult accompanying you should purchase a ticket for themselves plus a free 'Under 18s' ticket. We will require proof of age on the day. If you have any questions about this, please get in touch.
- Concession: If you are in receipt of government benefits or financial support, and would like to claim 20% off of your ticket, please email us with evidence of this receipt to receive a discount code before purchasing your ticket.
💙 Ticket Bursary
We want to share our conference with as many people living with OCD and related conditions as possible. We understand that for some, purchasing a ticket may not be possible, so we have created a bursary fund allowing us to offer a limited amount of free tickets on a first-come, first-serve basis, to those who otherwise would not be able to afford one. To request your ticket, please download our simple application form and send it back to us before 5pm on Friday 15th of September 2023. If you have any questions regarding the Ticket Bursary or the application form, please get in contact with us at conference@ocdaction.org.uk.
📝 A note on Privacy
Please note that by signing up with your email address, you are agreeing to be contacted by OCD Action via email in the lead up to the event and afterwards. Don’t worry, this isn’t a mailing list – unless you want to join that. These will only be emails about the conference. Full details of our privacy policy can be found in the footer of this page, if you’d like to read more.
🎥 More on Livestreaming
As mentioned above, we will be livestreaming the Main Stage sessions. Only the stage will be filmed, and we will do everything we can to ensure that attendees are not captured on camera. If you have any particular concerns about this, please contact us ahead of the conference or let a member of our team know on the day.
