Description

Join us for an evening at the National Marine Aquarium to celebrate the work of Plymouth residents Preventing Plastic Pollution. The evening will include talks from marine researchers and artists. You’ll also be able to find out how to reduce your plastic use at home with LUSH.

Hear an overview about the Citywide Partnership forming around Preventing Plastics Pollution.

6:15 – 6:45

Hear all about the research happening across the city to combat plastic pollution. We have talks from amazing researchers from the Rivers Trust and the Marine Biological Association.

6:45 – 7:00

Poetry reading from Emmie Readman

7:00 – 7:15

Break, our bar will be open throughout the evening.

7:15 – 7:30 Kate confirmed

Talk and demonstration about precious plastics a low-tech, artisan plastic recycling project.

7:30 – 7:45

A talk from Lush on how to live a plastic free lifestyle and the companies’ practices.
