Marine Measurement Forum 68

Welcome to the ticketing for the Marine Measurement Forum 68, hosted by OceanWise. 

The MMF is a series of one-day, non-profit making events that has been running since 1983 which provides excellent opportunities for networking and the informal exchange of ideas, knowledge, techniques and developments across an extensive range of marine scientific measurement activities.

Acclaimed maritime archaeologist Mensun Bound will deliver the keynote speech sharing his story of the successful search for Endurance, Sir Ernest Shackleton’s lost ship, found 10,000 feet beneath the Weddell Sea more than a century after it sank!

The event takes place on the 11th June 2025 at the Hogs Back Brewery just off the A31 and A331 near Farnham, Surrey. 

The event opens at 9am and the programme finishes at 4pm. From 4pm there is a cash bar.  

Your ticket includes morning pastries, coffee/tea and water throughout the day, a buffet lunch & Hogs Back Gift to take home.  

On-site free parking is available for all guests.

Please note that the venue uses rustic wooden benches - we will have a number of seat pads available but please do bring your own if you have a specific requirement or concern. 

MMF guests will receive 10% off any purchases made from the Hogs Back Brewery Shop on the day by quoting "OceanWise"

On-site free parking is available for all guests. 

The closest train stations are: Aldershot ( 2.6 miles / GU11 1HN) and Farnham (3.3 miles / GU9 8AD). Taxi services operate from both stations throughout the day.
