Oh Sh*t, Sherlock! is the hilarious hit new comedy by acclaimed playwright Elle Michael River (Murder, Magic & Mead, The Sweetest Crime) based on the classic mysteries by Arthur Conan Doyle’s Sherlock Holmes. The twist? The actor playing Sherlock has never seen the script or attended a rehearsal! Absolute hilarity ensues as the rest of the cast try to keep the mystery on track while Sherlock barrels forward on pure comedic instinct alone.

Each Sherlock solves TWO DIFFERENT MYSTERIES! See one...or catch them both! 

Mystery 1 Plays On:

• Fridays at 7pm
• Saturdays at 1pm and 7pm
• Sundays at 3pm

Mystery 2 Plays On:

• Fridays at 9pm
• Saturdays at 3pm and 9pm
• Sundays at 5pm

OH SH*T, SHERLOCK features intimate theater seating at our mini cocktail tables. After you purchase tickets, seats will be reserved for you and your party. Every pair of seats has a cocktail table in between.  If you have attended past shows with us, please note this event does not feature our full sized cafe tables and is not BYOF.

How does seating work?

After you purchase tickets, seats will be reserved for you and our hosts will seat you upon arrival. The venue is extremely intimate, so every seat is a fantastic one! If you have multiple separate orders and would like to be seated together, please indicate that in the "are you sitting with another party who has already purchased?" section of the checkout form. If you purchase VIP Tickets, you will be seated in the front row. 

Large groups may be split amongst multiple rows of seating. 

Is the venue wheelchair and mobility accessible? 

Yes. The venue has a ramp at the front entrance and an elevator to reach the third floor. If you require a wheelchair seat, there is a spot to notate that during checkout. If you have specific accommodations you would like to discuss, please email info@octoberensemble.com 

Is there an age limit? 

21+ Only. 

Can I bring my baby/infant to the show?

No, all attendees must be 21+ and no babies/infants are permitted. 

I've seen this show during one of its previous runs, what's new this time around? 

A lot! This run features two entirely different, never-before-seen mysteries compared to our previous run of the show! 

I've seen one of these Sherlock's before, won't they know the script? 

Nope! This run features entirely new mysteries for our Sherlocks to solve, and we're excited to be inviting back some fan-favorites! Don't worry, they still have no idea what's happening. 
 

Why is this show Rated R? 

The show may contain mature language and humor. Every performance is different depending on who is playing Sherlock and the choices they make.

Is this show BYOF (Bring your own food) like some of your past productions? 

No. This show features mini cocktail table seating that is perfect for refreshments, but do not provide enough room for full spreads of food. Traditional theatre concessions (Candy, Chips, Water, etc.) will be available prior to the show. 

I've never heard of this show before. Has it been done before?

OH SH*T SHERLOCK is an original comedy written by esteemed playwright Elle Michael River (Murder, Magic & Mead , The Sweetest Crime) based on the the works of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes. It had its sold-out world premiere run right here at the October Ensemble theatre earlier this year, followed by another sold out run in June, and is returning again for a limited time this September with brand new Sherlock stories even more hilarious than the last! Don't miss it! 

Does this show include audience participation? 

No, this show does not include audience participation. It is an immersive experience where patrons witness one unscripted actor as they stumble their way through a classic Sherlock Holmes mystery. 

Can I be chosen to be Sherlock?

No. Sherlock Holmes will be played by a different local actor every night, who has never seen the script before.
