Andy Billet Public Health Intelligence Analyst Apprenticeship: July Trainee Workshop
Mon 15 Jul 2024 9:30 AM - 3:45 PM
County Hall, DH1 5UL
Description
To mark the end of the first year of the Andy Billett Programme, and before the apprentices move to their new host organisation, I’d like to invite you to join our July apprentice workshop. This workshop will include a showcase of the work that the apprentices have already been involved in as well as providing attendees an opportunity to meet the trainees and the rest of the Programme Management Team, and to network with other Public Health Intelligence colleagues across the North East region.
The workshop agenda will allow attendees to hear from a variety of interesting and knowledgeable speakers, representing a range of organisations linked to the apprentice programme including Health Protection, The UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) and the NHS Humber and North Yorkshire Integrated Care Board. There will also be the opportunity to hear from a colleague at the end of their Level 6 data science apprentice journey.
Food and refreshments:
Lunch will not be provided, however there is an onsite shop, open until 1pm that sells various breakfast and lunch items including:
• Breakfast buns, porridge pots and scones.
• Prepacked sandwiches, wraps, rolls and salads. Hot items such as soup, paninis, jacket potatoes, pastries, and daily specials. Hot and cold drinks, fruit, yoghurts, and snacks.
The shop is not linked to us, and as such we are unable to confirm that specific dietary requirements can be met by their products (for example vegetarian, vegan, gluten free etc). We would strongly recommend that anyone with specific dietary restrictions or requirements makes alternative arrangements and brings lunch with them.
Durham City Centre is a 20-minute walk away.
